H’Art Participates in International Peace Day

H’Art Studio was invited to participate in the International Peace Day show with a 12 paintings exhibition featuring H’Art artists.

The show was presented by One World Dialogue, September 21, 2011, at the Shenkman Arts Centre in Ottawa.

H’Art artists included: Bella Bowes, Ildiko Fejes, Mike Hinchcliff, Alixe Hysert, Tracey King, Analisa Kiskis, Chris Maveety, Marika Smart, Alex Stacenko, Alexa Vanveen, Jessica Whitney.

Other participating artists included: H’Art, Basement Artists, Sandy Woods, Sandra Millar, K.C. Geoffrey Ng, Jamie Koebel, etc.

Alexandra Badzak, Director of the Ottawa Art Gallery spoke about the role arts play in building stronger communities.

This event is recognized as an International Peace Day event and was promoted on the UN International Peace Day website events calendar.
